We’re leveling up this year in every respect. To enhance Puna Ako learning in Trimester 1, we integrated science (physics), with literacy, numeracy and hauora.
Every whānau group had an excursion to Whaingaroa | Raglan for the day, to learn to surf with DK Surf School. We worked with Perry Outdoor Education Trust (POET) to develop our student leaders. We’re very grateful to both groups for their incredible support.
Afterwards, we continued to learn about the physics of surfing and considered the impact of technology on the sport of surfing.
